At LeRock Academy, we believe leadership is not built by simply consuming information—it is
developed through intentional practice, thoughtful reflection, sound judgment, and the consistent
application of principles that create meaningful results. We are building a competency-based
leadership academy designed to help individuals, organizations, nonprofits, and government
agencies develop leaders who can think clearly, act with purpose, and create a positive impact
wherever they serve.
We are seeking a Leadership Competency Architect who shares that vision and is excited by
the opportunity to help build something with lasting significance. This role is for someone who
enjoys designing systems that genuinely help people grow. Rather than creating traditional online
courses, you will build learning experiences that transform leadership concepts into practical
competencies people can demonstrate in their everyday work.
As our Leadership Competency Architect, you will design the leadership pathways that guide
every learner's journey throughout the academy. You will identify the essential competencies
leaders need to succeed and organize them into structured learning experiences that are practical,
engaging, and measurable. Each competency will be built around a clear mental framework that
helps learners organize their thinking, analyze real-world leadership situations, strengthen their
judgment, apply new skills in authentic workplace environments, reflect on their experiences,
reinforce positive behaviors, and demonstrate measurable growth over time.
Working closely with instructors and academy leadership, you will create case studies,
workplace challenges, reflection activities, reinforcement strategies, competency assessments,
learning resources, and implementation guides that support both individual professionals and
enterprise clients. Every learning experience should move beyond simply teaching information
and instead help learners build the confidence, habits, and decision-making abilities required to
lead effectively in increasingly complex environments.
This role requires someone who naturally combines strategic thinking with creativity and
structure. You enjoy transforming complex leadership ideas into clear, repeatable systems that
people can immediately understand and apply. You think about the learner's entire
journey—from their first interaction with a competency to the moment they confidently
demonstrate that skill in their workplace. You are constantly asking, "How can we make this
experience more practical, more engaging, and more transformational?"
Most importantly, you believe leadership has the power to strengthen organizations, improve
workplaces, and positively influence communities. If you're energized by designing learning
experiences that help people become wiser decision-makers, stronger collaborators, more
confident communicators, and more effective leaders, you'll find meaningful purpose in helping
shape the future of LeRock Academy.
Here, your work won't simply produce curriculum. It will help build a community of leaders who
are committed to serving others with integrity, developing those around them, and creating
measurable impact in the lives, organizations, and communities they lead. Every competency you
design has the potential to influence not just one learner, but every team, family, organization,
and community that learner will go on to serve. That's the opportunity—and the
responsibility—we're inviting you to help build with us.
